HISTORY:
In 1972, Larry and Ron Johnson opened Johnson Brothers Marina at the 47MM, Lake Road 135-3 (now known as Cup Tree Road). The Hwy 5 location was opened only five years later in 1977.
The marina location, on Cup Tree Road, is a full service marina offering gas dock and dry boat storage. The Hwy 5 location also offers dry boat storage and one of the largest parts and accessory inventories in the lake area!
Currently, Ron and Sue Johnson manage the marina located off of Cup Tree Road (Lk Rd. 135-3) and Larry and Judy Johnson manage the Hwy 5 location. Bill (Larry and Judy's son) is the parts manager at the highway store.
Parts & Accessories:
Johnson Brothers boasts one of the largest parts and accessory inventories in the lake area By utilizing their supplier relationships, they are often able to find even the most difficult parts for customers, other dealers, and repair shops. Many parts are held in stock for Johnson, Evinrude Outboards, OMC and Cobra, Volvo and MerCruiser Sterndrive.
Accessories stocked, range from boat hardware and fittings, bass seats and pedestals, hinges and locks, electrical connectors and switches, to life jackets, tubes, and rafts. Parts in stock include impellers, batteries, freshwater pumps and kits, aerators, bilge pumps, sealers, lubricants, waxes and polish from many brands (Bio-Kleen included).
Service:
Experience makes the difference! All of our mechanics are factory trained certified and master technicians in Evinrude, Johnson Outboards, MerCriser, older OMC and Cobra sterndrives and Volvo Sterndrives. Both locations boasts mechanics who have from 10-35 years experience!
